Shouldn’t each color be aligned lightest to darkest?

Yes. That was all the time I had before the 2yo woke up. He’s not quite as OCD as I am and tends to make detailed sorting difficult!

Like today, I was organizing the Camaros and Mustangs in year order to see if I am missing any generations, and see if I had more of one than the other, but I kept finding empty spots in my lines.

bored...line them up...and do a video of them ...eye level height...so we can SEE them ...let's go get with it.

Also...post your top ten rarest and the most $$$....and the most you paid...we won't tell the wife.

That’s a fun idea!! But at ~2.5” each and 381 cars, end to end means over 12ft!!

I’m thinking I could do them at a diagonal so you can see the front and side and not be as long overall.

As far as rarest or most paid, I really have no idea. I bought them all new at some point, so ~$1/ea except a couple of the color changers and special editions. As mentioned by someone else, no packaging so value is lower.

I should probably log them all and find a value for insurance purposes if nothing else.

I can think of lots of different ways to creat a spreadsheet kind of thing; that would be a good way to spend some time if you by chance get bored.

I don’t have time for that OCD nonsense myself. I’m too busy trying to organize my ammo by not just caliber and grain but bullet type and in some sort of lot number order too. I might hand polish each individual round tomorrow or the for the next few months though. It’s really got me concerned...

See, I heard that real operators always polish their ammo so it will feed reliably. But being a new operator in this theater, I probably ought to check with you other black ops guys to see what polishing media you all use. I wonder if it should be the same for brass and nickel cased, or is it different?
