What does 'open it back up' mean to you?

To me it means opening up all the businesses forced to shut down.

For me, it will be the restaurant industry opening back up and flourishing. Not because I want to go out to eat (although that would be nice), but because my business relies on restaurants being successful (I'm in commercial architecture with a focus on restaurants). And because my wife's job relies on successful restaurants (the company she works for does accounting for a bunch of restaurant groups). And because both of my brother's jobs rely on restaurants being successful (they both work for a company that installs and repairs commercial kitchen equipment).

I'm not really sure how we all ended up in separate businesses that rely on a booming restaurant culture, but it do be that way it seems.

I don’t like dying from a virus.
So I’ve basically stayed home and done stuff I like doing while doing the minimum necessary for work.
I suspected people wouldn’t be able to sit this out and many are proving this out.
I hope they develop a logical approach to opening things back up. But I am doubtful they are capable.

Diesel is $1.59 in my small part of the world. As of about 35 minutes ago.

What ever it takes to get all the people out of Home Depot that are supposed to be "safe at home" but it is perfectly OK to drag 4 generations of family to HD.
I know I am being somewhat of an ass but apparently you can spread the virus at your place of work or at school/college but not at the lumber store!!
Right or wrong, I am of the opinion that "at risk" people should have stayed at home and the rest should have protected themselves and went the hell to work !! The whole shelter at home thing is a joke............... Sorry ,I ramble but this shutdown has been over done and largely turned into a fiasco.
