FWIW ... I could be the outlier, but I had a perfectly flawless drive-through experience at Bricktown McDonalds Monday morning. The one at NW 122nd & I-35 gives good service, too. Granted, I only hit McD @ twice a month. You mileage may vary ...

I remember one place having burgers 5 for a dollar, but that was when I was a kid.

I was referring to much later (early '80s?), when several chains were sellin' 'em cheap. We stopped at a Burger King in Gainesville, TX when they first introduced their "triple triple" (3 patties, 3 slices of cheese). Couldn't believe they were 99¢...

Her actions were understandable and totally acceptable as, obviously, she was late for her company's Board of Directors meeting. she be chairing.
