Any of you blokes ever take Prednisone?

Yea have that side effect too. Hungry all the time, all I won't to do is eat. I said eat I need to go the kitchen. LOL Been eating lots of fruits to keep from gaining a 100 lbs and the vitamin C is good for you anyway.

Bless your heart. This whole covid thing has been quite the adventure for you. I hope it straightens out for you soon ...

Been taking high doses for Covid since I got out of ICU that's been 3 weeks. Suppose to pickup 3rd script today. No weird dreams that I remember but can't sleep. There has been times only slept a couple hrs in two days. Only slept about 3 last night, taking sleep aids but nothing seems to help.

Seriously, fruit juice popcicles. Dont know why, but maybe the cold tart in your throat, very calming, helps with gack throat. I drink lemonade hot or cold with superC Elderberry powder in it. Taking 2 tylenol and 2 benadryl makes me sleep good, but dont take it two nights in a row

I took what I call the prednisone dump for a few days a long time ago after an encounter with poison ivy. I got a shot and then took oral meds seven pills the first day, six pills the second day, and so on till I had taken all of them.

I don't recall any weird dreams, though.

I've been on it a few times. Had some mild reactions like the hunger thing...never weird dreams, though. It can perform some miracles, though...if you can stand the side effects.

Got a little dog taking a pretty high dose right now.

Gave it too me, in the hospital.

Took it once. After that, I refused it.
I had trouble sleeping, but when I did, the wild dreams woke me up. I didn't remember them, other than being weird.

Changed to a different steroid. For my Covid pneumonia. Said it take a little longer, but I didn't care.
