Our two are enjoying the warmer weather on the deck. Lol
Found another dog that someone probably dumped. Had a bone with her and people do that when they dump them sometimes. Makes me so mad. Pit mix. 4 months I guess. Was panicked and then ran at every car that passed. I just don’t see how someone can do that to a dog. If anyone needs a puppy, I have one.

Seems to be a thing lately... I feel so sorry for the dogs that've been abandoned. I wish I could save 'em all.
Over a 20 year period I went from a volunteer to the VP of the Board at a shelter in Colorado. I fostered and adopted more dogs than I can remember. I just don't have the means any more since I've retired. I'm pretty much at my limit and it kills me...

It is. People seem to have no clue how puppies are when they get a little older. My dog was a nightmare when he was a puppy until about 2. Energy that seems impossible. Chase everything to the end of the earth. Nightly he would run around the outside of the house in big laps at full speed 6-10 times. This dog is much easier than he was at his age. People just dump them out here. It’s disgusting. I wish they could be charged with a crime.
Thanks for doing that. Can’t save them all but it means a lot to me when people do anything like that.
I know of a shelter/rescue. They’re messing up dogs lives because they’re power tripping over who owns the dog. Or more focused on the social aspect of “dog saving”. They deny quality applicants due to trivial things and technicalities. For instance, they wouldn’t let me rescue a dog if I tried. I don’t have a fence and that’s a requirement.
Later on I’ll probably build a ten dog kennel, train, test and rehome. I could do it with just the dumped dogs out here. Almost all pit mixes though. Shelters are full of them.
