I Went Thru A Horrible Experience Today...

Something I never want to have to go thru again.

My wife's been out of town since Thursday. I had to do my own laundry today. It was horrible, I tell you... I'm still shaken.

My 12yo daughter tried to help with laundry after my divorce, results we less than ideal.

The boys were pissed as our underwater was pink, sure glad I didn’t have gym. That took some bleach. She was doing her best to help, we had to review the procedures

When I was a kid the wringer washing machine was outside and I hardly ever did washing unless my pants stood up by themselves after I took them off. I'm not sure if old man Kramer knew that we used his pond... Nowadays, he'd have to have a fence around the pond, signs posted that no swimming allowed and not responsible for accidents.

I like to do my own laundry.
I like All Free and clear. The smelly good liquids like gain and others have oils that stay on the materials that give them the scents they have.

Those oils make towels and wash cloths not soak up water very well.

Ever take a dry towel and drag it across some water on the counter.
I want it to soak up right now not after I wipe it 3 or more times.

Do not get me started on overloading a washing machine.
Some people have Zero concept or Zero knowledge on how things work.

Totally packed machine will not clean properly and it is hard on bearings and seals.
Rant over.

I‘ve been doing my own laundry since high school, and I also cook quite a few of our meals and wash dishes too. I’m pretty sure there could be a correlation between me helping out around the house and my wife never going on a sex strike.
