Well it is certainly took a turn and was fun to get caught up on. I will say it is ironic that the op says nobody should have extra houses for the sole purpose of renting them out to others, then in the middle of the thread says he doesn't mind renting.

Then there is this little nugget...

If people needing a place to live is not a business model, where exactly do these houses come from? Do houses just randomly grow on trees or something?

Give him enough time and he will contradict himself. When his circular logic gets really bad, he claims to be trolling. It's just joey. Didn't know he was this bad of a liberal when it came to land ownership, kind of surprising to be honest.

I don’t know JoeGrizzly but I’ve read most of this crap here and am throwing the B.S. card on his rant.

You keep saying you have more money than most, know a bunch of millionaires, can afford high dollar cars and all the other spew-age,blah blah blah.

Crap it might be true, but in your own words you say if you’re rich you don’t need to brag.

It says your in your 30’s or 40’s but it sounds like you didn’t get enough ass whippins from your folks when/ if they gave them to you.

I hear you whining about your landlord won’t fix a leak even when you paid rent on time then later say you had paid late to others. Get your s_ _ _ together and quit bashing other for your lack of drive!!

Handle your problems like a man and quit deriding people that are making a living for them and their families. If these folks want to own 2300 homes/businesses/cars/whore houses (where legal)/head of cattle or what the crap ever it is then so be it.

They probably dang well WORKED for it!!!

Close your trap basing everyone, quit thinking everything's a conspiracy, IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT YOU!!!!

Help your argument? LOL You're not making an argument. You are proving how ignorant you are. No one in this thread has questioned that. You are 20 pages past that point by now.

I've bought lots of properties I've never planned on living in. Even the first house I bought I never planned on living in. When I paid $29,900 for a 2/1/1 in Midwest City, it was to make it a rental property. At the time I was married with a kid and we lived in a rent house ourselves. I was both paying and collecting rent. The first house I bought to live in myself, was actually my second house purchase. I bought a few more, flipped a couple then sold everything to take the equity and pay off my primary house. I paid off the 30 year mortgage in 43 months and was debt free at 35 years old.

I hope you realize I am not trying to argue with you. The last thing I'm interested in is people like yourself becoming educated, figuring out life and bettering yourself. I literally run an entire business off people making poor financial decisions. I actually need them to blame society, the financial system or anyone but themselves. I don't want them to figure out they are the product of their own decisions. I am only here to further your humiliation.

Best post in this entire, thread.

Yes I do think it was good advice. One thing I have learned, and the hard way, is it takes money to make money, even if you have to borrow money to get started.

LOL if a college graduate cannot support themselves then they waisted 4 years on a ******** all about feels degree. How about learning a trade instead, make more money and be in demand.
Wasted?

Holy bowl of Betty crocker BS.

>oh you are just dumb and poor, if ya had a time machine to go back to 1998 *or even five years ago* you could have bought a house for under $10k!

bro you may think what you want of me but i wouldn't live in that pitiful shack you bought. it doesn't have nearly enough space to run my business. my machinery literally wouldn't fit. lol
What?! So you need a big nice house but can’t afford one, prefer renting but think it’s morally wrong to rent out houses?

Next I’m going to buy a really cheap lot and build a small simple house myself. Around 800 sq ft. You could totally do it.

This is what happened to a lot of people. College turned them into broke 40 year old children.

College is not for everyone. Neither is home ownership as we are finding out.

Most people would be better off learning a skill or trade, plumber, electrician, carpentry, mechanics etc than going to college.

Home ownership is not everyone either. Some people are better off renting.

I wish everyone the best.

I have had a very considerable leak for months. My water bill is 400x to 500x what is has been last year and years prior. I informed my landlord of this in May. He told me to "listen to the walls". I said "well i mean okay....but there's a big leak somewhere regardless."

about a week later, our hot water kept going out. this was because the tank was rusted and rotted out and was leaking onto the pilot light. i informed the landlord. he sent out plumbers to replace it. while replacing the hot water heater, they noticed the massive leak (they turned the water off but the little star was spinning like mad....because there's a massive leak somewhere).

they asked me if i had told the landlord about the leak. i said "yes, weeks ago". they left and said "we'll be back to fix it".

that was over 6 weeks ago. today i asked the landlord about the leak. he said i am basically evicted for bringing it up. he brags about not needing a reason; he can do whatever he wants.

i have all screenshots of every text on this. sooooooo yeah who needs a roomate i guess?
Your lease has expired. You are on a month to month tenancy. You’ve been served the 30 day notice to vacate. You should be packing instead of whining.
