I have the whole big belt no butt thing going on myself, so even a cranked down belt doesn't completely do the job of keeping my pants up. I bought a pair of these suspenders this past year because they aren't supposed to set off the alarm at the TSA checkpoint. I've been wearing them daily ever since and haven't had them come loose once, and that includes about 2 months of me doing site surveys and climbing up on roofs.

I have had the best luck with Perry suspenders. I deeded suspenders BEFORE I gained weight. I never had a butt and hips big enough to hold pants up. When I was younger, I could synch my belt up good and tight and rely on friction to hold my pants up. Now, however, it cuts off the circulation to my legs!

Perry suspenders are very reasonably priced and have never let my pants down.

I've worn suspenders daily for 30+ years. Mostly wear casual slacks for work, not too dressy, but not jeans. I buy big and tall suspenders from Edwards Men store in Lawton. Not sure of the brand but they have sold the same brand for years. I'm still wearing some that are probably 7-8 years old.

Found some Dickey's tucked away at Walmart. They're not bad it doing their job. Only thing I did like is the adjustment buckles stand out prominently when I wear them under my t-shirt, which I often do. No biggie. I'll probably try some Perry's one of these days.

I hate tucking in my shirt so I have a pair of the under your shirt style suspenders. Don't wear them regularly since you have to remove your shirt to drop your pants but with no butt, when I'm carrying, they're a big help in keeping my pants up.
