Exactly. We don't ever want to blame the victim, but...Money did buy his civil settlement. It may or may not have bought his innocence. I remember following the ordeal as it happened, and the accuser was by all accounts bats#!t crazy. They found... *ahem* evidence of other men on her and still in her drawers when she was examined after the encounter. Kobe was not her first and/or last stop that evening. He may have been a sleazy adulterer, but it came out pretty evident she was consenting to a whole helluva lot from him and others that evening.
Money buys everything mostly, but she could have taken the Jeff Bezos route and sold off 4 billion dollars or so of stock recently. His wife made him pay do none of you remember this? https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2003-jul-26-et-moore26-story.html

I guess it's just the Me Too Movement. The sensitive snowflakes on here want to overlook the physical evidence and other things that suggest that the accuser was a little off kilter. That's ok. If you're accused of something, you're guilty and it's as simple as that. The sensitive OSA Me Toosters have my utmost respect and my sympathies.
I'm not sure what kind of guys they were. All we know for sure is that they had sex with her before or after kobey did. Just a couple guys, probably ordinary working stiffs that had sex with her that day between underwear changes. I won't speculate on their character or her's.Edit
The physical evidence was that coby had his semen on her.
I'm not up and nor do I want to be up on the nuances of the rape laws, but I still wonder if she accused the other two? Were they rich? Did they have money and influence? Or were they common folk like you and I?
Charges get dropped against non-celebrities all the time. But if you're saying having money means you can hire a more motivated defense team and put on a better defense, that's a fair statement.I'll bet a criminal case in this situation wouldn't be dismissed by a prosecutor if it were you or me. Welcome to the second tier of criminals in the United States where money buys innocence and non disclosure agreements settle cases.
Of course that's true. Have you ever been in a courtroom when a person is charged with a crime and represented by a public attorney? I have and it's not pretty. That same semen evidence would have sent a commoner to a long jail term and it has in the past.Charges get dropped against non-celebrities all the time.
