That's a lot of gun for $1k.

It absolutely is. I'm very very picky about 1911's and I can't find one thing I dislike about this one. The slide rails are smooth & tight, slide stop/barrel link, barrel/bushing are all fit together PERFECT. Trigger is the best I've ever felt. Internals are free of ugly rough markings. Beautiful ion-bond finish, applied evenly on inside and out. Has a beautifully milled Clark style rib on top of slide. Ejection port is flared and lowered with no sharp edges. It just needs a set of starburst grips and a 10-8 rear sight (I hate slant sights, it already has a trijicon front)
