I've had the same experience orangeRcode. If you make a trail, it is surprising how much they will use it. I used to rake all the leaves out of the trail on my way to the stand just to make it quiet. It wasn't a deer trail, but after I raked all the leaves out they would quickly make it into one.

When your up there scouting/hunting/whatever, pay attention to any cut or uncut corn fields, find out who the farmer/landowner is and see if they will sell it to you out of the combine, that's what I've started doing, costs one-third to one-half what you pay in the store. One guy just gives me about 1500lbs for free!! He tells me they spill/loose way more than that during harvest so no big deal. I flap the top of old 275gal herbicide crate/pallets and put corn in them, and wheat cleanings from the local elevators(ultra cheap too).

Yup. Same here. I cleard a trail yesterday including sweeping leaves. The trail goes from landowners house for about 80 yards through the woods to a field that we cleared of some trees. Finished up at about 3:00 pm. Around 8 that night I went back out to hang a feeder and the last portion of the trail had tracks in it. Couldn't tell much about them due to the lack of light, but they were definitely deer. I'll go back out there in 2 weeks to do just a bit more work and hopefully have pictures then. I need more cameras though. Just one sure ain't cutting what I want to do.

There was some database issues the other day, I think anything posted on thursday and friday were lost, as were some user accounts.
