I tried the rice bran a couple years ago. I didn’t have much success with it. You’re right though, the coons wouldn’t touch it. Might have to try the pelletsAnyone with any experience feeding the rice bran pellets, either out of a feeder or just on the ground? The coons sure don't seam to eat the rice bran powder very much at all.

Mix the pellets in to get them started. The deer here inhale that stuff, and I don't get near the coon traffic. I hadn't seen the pellets in stock before this year.

Moisture will cause the pellets to mold. If there’s pigs around you will have them in there for sure due to the smell and mold. Western Oklahoma I’ve learned the deer could care less about it. Eastern Oklahoma they love it.

If he is somewhat regular, he should be a piece of cake to drop him. Loading him maybe a little trouble.Bigger deer are starting to show up, and this hog just keeps getting fatter on my corn. I’ve got to kill him if for no other reason than to see just how big he really is. And he is still the only hog I’ve caught on camera.

He is regular to this feeder, so he must live very nearby. Only problem is, he is usually there between 11:30pm and 4:00am.If he is somewhat regular, he should be a piece of cake to drop him. Loading him maybe a little trouble.
