Let me ask you this. Looking at the badland winch, does one need the accessory mounting plate or are most a universal fit for the holes already in the front brush guard?

Im not sure on whichever machine you have. But usually you have to buy a winch plate for your particular machine which bolts in with those holes you are talking about. The winch then bolts to the winch plate using the hole spacing on the plate which is pretty standard among winches.

I got my roof mounted this week. I figured I would post a few pictures. the total cost, with paint and hardware was $90.

thanks, the cage is made odd, the rear bar is higher than the rest, but the sides are not at an inline angle with the rear. so, the back looks a little warped. I put in some spacers, code word for washers, to raise the sides some, but it still a little off. If I get it any higher, I think the sides would start looking odd.
