Personally, unless things have changed a lot since the '80's when I was a school board member, I think you should go to the school board with documentations showing the truth of the list of ways that children die most. Get more than one source of the information and present it to the board, also provide them with information on how to get gun safety instruction in the school, whether that be from the NRA or sources of safety instruction.

They should be presented this information so that they can see that you have more than just a complaint to make. In your presentation to them, also state that the safety of the children is better served if the children know what to do when encountered with a weapon. After all, even the school administration and teacher should understand that there is no way that they will be able to get all firearms out of homes.

I wasn't aware the swamp had achieved statehood; in fact, I thought that was the whole reason the Heller suit was brought there first.
