Anybody been bit by

I’m assuming a spider but the doctor didn’t know either. I can post some start pictures but it’s in a spot that’s very uncomfortable.
I don’t want to post pics unless someone maybe can give advice for the pain, If so I’ll post some just forewarning it’s pretty nasty. Doc put me on an antibiotic pills and that’s it. Pain meds make me turn red and feel hot but at this point I may have him call something in, haven’t slept in 48hrs. Feels like a bullet that didn’t pass thru, I’ve been shot before but it was straight through, sorta the same feeling but non stop.
Any advice appreciated

if it is a spider probably a recluse it will swell up and get hot then receed back into a smaller spot that the center will just rot away. i have had it happen several times. i have pretty good results with epsome salt soaks or packs and about any kind of drawing salve.

Preparation H for hemorrhoids should help with the surface pain. Is the area getting larger still?

I use Vetericyn wound care for all cuts and bites.

Look up recluse bites and watch the warnings signs. Most people don’t have huge issues. Do not scare yourself.

side note, get in there and kill everything around the location where you got bit.

From Tues till today, I tried to block out anything but the bite.
I’ve been bit by brown recluses before and none got bad, this one is severely painful

It has gotten bigger and now bleeding and blackish

Looks more like you may need a one on one in person medical view from number three. Call your doc and see.

The doctor i seen yesterday bascailly said to take the antibiotics and use soap and water every few hours.
It’s in the crevice between my leg and crotch so no avoiding rubbing which sucks badly.

Had it on my arm.. Doc gave.antibiotic and steroid shots and sent me to wound care. Took 6 weeks to heal. Ask your Doctor to send you to wound care, can do much better than self care. Insurance won't pay without Doctor referral.
