Finally turned 21 today! A bit clueless about the process to get a CCW license. All I now is that it involves paying some money for a class, paying for the license, getting fingerprinted, and then waiting a couple months. Can I get it all done at a place like H&H? Or is it all done at the police station?
1.) Take your class at the place of your choosing.
-They will give you all the forms you need and instructions on what to do
2.) Fill out forms
3.) You will need to take your packet to your county sheriff.
-Its been awhile, but I think you pay the co sheriff for the fingerprints, and then they send your packet on to OSBI (with the check for the OSBI).
Like I said, its been awhile since I did mine, but I think thats how it goes. At any rate, any place offering classes that is worth their salt is going to give you a check list to follow.
