Using a boresnake with CLP on it then cleaning the boresnake takes less time than the brush and patch method and cleans just as well if not better as far as I can tell, of course I only use them on my shotguns(and use them exclusively on my shotguns) so I dont know about how they handle buildup in the lands...

Bore snake for me. Keep one in the buttstock compartment of my AR, and one for every other caliber I shoot in my range bag.
