I just looked at a receipt of a well I had drilled in 2010 and it was 160' and cost $1680.00. That's $10.50 per foot. They laid the wiring for 220V and I did the electrical work including installation of the "box" (can't think of the proper name at present). I bought the well pump off of eBay and saved some money there also. Now I have to mow two times per week at the rate I've been watering this season, I think I'll cut back on the watering.
