It may not be cool to talk about but almost every other week in the Sunday coupons there is a buy one get one from Gillette with a value of up to $14. I NEVER buy them without using that now. That adds up to a nice chunk of change.

I switched to a $30 Merkur safety razor and a brush/soap about 2 years ago.
$15 worth of Derby blades has lasted me 2 years and there are more left.

One of my buddies switched to a safety razor and loves it. I'm thinking about giving it a shot too. New gillette cartridges are as expensive as ammo.

I've been subscribed for almost a year. I have the $6.00 option. At least I don't have to remember to buy any blades. I only shave my neck so I have a reserve of blades.
