A guy that works for me lives in CA. Born and raised there, but you'd think he was from the south the way he likes guns. He said that you wouldn't believe how many 80% lowers have come into the state and are being built out there. I know that he's done several himself.

No, they are sheep out there with a few exceptions. The exceptions are looking for a way out.
What are all those fine upstanding law abiding citizens going to do with those AR's in a year when they are required to dispose of them? Wouldn't it be a shame if a certain group of them were charged with a firearm felony and lost their voting rights if they refuse to give them up as their law requires. Hummm
