Congrats, I love old iron, over the years I’ve brought home several (my better half calls me a hoarder, I’ve explained that I’m an accumulator, not a hoarder). I’ve got several finished cars, 7-8 and a couple dozen that are projects.
You only get one life, enjoy what puts a smile on your face.

My most positive accomplishment, I married a good woman and raised four Daughters.
Thank you. I think one is all I can handle

I've been chasing my dream car since I was 14 and I finally was able to get it last week. I picked up a 66 Mustang with a 351w. I can't wait to start tweaking it making it mine. I need to add power steering, the wife says a/c, replace a few items here and there. View attachment 264445View attachment 264446View attachment 264447
Beautiful car, that 351 will have more than enough muscle to motivate that light weight machine around. Investing in this will be like investing in Tesla, the value will just keep going up.

It has disc on the front. I need to get a booster and master cylinder to complete the power brakes
Just wondering why you want to add a booster. I converted my old Cougar from drum to manual discs and it stops great with minimal effort. Most old car power systems feel over sensitive for my taste, the boosters take up valuable engine compartment real estate, and its one more thing to go wrong. If it doesn't stop easily with manual discs, them most likely the master cylinder bore to caliper diameter ratio is off, and a booster would just be a band-aid. Anyhow, just my two cents. It's a nice car, enjoy!

100% agree, I’ve got adjustable manual discs (60/40) on my 70 XL, they work great.
