Fix yer Holster Belt Clip

a buddy's metal clip on his holster kept bending out on him (only one to do it and he has three of the same type holster) so even though they'll fix it for him, he wanted to get it done locally instead...


1/8" thick kydex.... snaps closed harder than the metal ones do.

Turned out great.

And no, i'm not really selling them - just throwing that out there as an idea for those who dont want to wait to get a holster repaired.

What holds the Kydex to the leather?

the original design has the metal clip sliding down inside the leather pouch you see there - at the end of the pouch, theres a slot cut in the leather.

part of the metal is bent up to catch inside the slot.


I made the kydex similar, but instead of bending the entire width of the slot, i heated it up and made if have to good sized tabs pop up and hold onto the edge of the leather.
