I have a trail threw berry bushes . Had one sprout come up in that trail in the last 15 years . I brush hog the trail & about 2 feet on each siide. Can't have berry bushes scratching the sides of my JEEP GLADIATOR.

What y'all got against blackberries...

I love blackberries.

McLoud has a blackberry festival every year around the fourth of July. Last I heard, unfortunately there aren't that many blackberries left in that area.

They're dormant right now so anything you do right now won't accomplish much. Fire won't do anything to them no matter what time of the year.

depending on where you are at I have a handheld propane burner you could borrow.
I raise thornless black berries in my back yard and they do spread a little but not much

Thanks for that. I googled "Piranha Tractor Bar" and I'll be getting one of those. The problem will be that some of those bushes have grown over discarded metal pipes, barbed wire, posts, whatever.

There's even a couple of racks for working on cars covered in those bushes. Big racks. As in, you drive the car completely up onto the racks and get underneath.

But once I move the metal, that bar will be great.
