The simple reason air costs more nowadays is because your friendly neighborhood EPA has been hard at work making it cleaner!

CLEAN AIR COSTS MONEY DAMMIT DONTCHA KNOW!

I keep a Schumacher battery booster with a built-in compressor in my trunk. It's handy when you're trying to start cranky old tractors, and it's even handier when you're trying to put enough air in your tire to get to the tire repair shop because some !@#$ing bottom-dollar "roofing contractor" can't be bothered to make sure he's not dropping old roofing nails all over the !@#$ing highway on his way to the dump...:scream:

I want one like this in my garage, but hooked up to a feeder system into my recording studio, with a tap in the wall for hose and accessory tips. Dust bunnies be gone! And no more $5.00 cans of air for computers and rack gear!

Be careful with that. You can get a bit of moisture and oil from shop air, even with a decent dryer.
