Something else for Hummingbird lovers to consider.
Back in the late '90's, we bought a house and had an area 20' by 6' in front of the front door that we couldn't get anything to grow in, so we created a watergarden feature with a 150 gallon tub with a pump installed that let us create a waterfall at one end and the tub at the bottom. Within the stream between the waterfall and tub, I created a small area where the water didn't travel so fast so that the birds could have a place to take a bath or get a drink.
Little did I know that the watergarden would attract frogs, which the two dogs liked trying to get and end up getting the foamy mouth.

Finally saw my first one for this year, this afternoon at the front porch feeder.

Have had both male and females today. female only yesterday. maybe same ones, but they were here several times this am on 2 feeders.
