I have hung a feeder but no birds yet. I have approx 60 hummingbirds. Fed 8, 25# bags of sugar last year.

I’m not all that good at maths, but that’s 200lbs of sugar. I wouldn’t even know where to buy a 25 lb bag of sugar.
I actually have 7 one liter feeders but only use three of them. I thought multiples would allow me time away during the season overnight. They eat all three feeders daily. 3/4 gallon. I bought 50 more pounds at Walmart a couple of days ago.

I’m at the in-laws in Wylie Texas for Easter and they’ve got hummingbirds zipping through the back yard. So, I went to Target and got them a shepards hook and a feeder. Already got birds on it.
So, are the in-laws now hooked on Hummers?
Whatever y'all do, and most probably know, use sugar and water only. Don't use that red crap from the store, and definitely never use honey. Honey will kill hummingbirds in a slow and miserable death. It's almost guaranteed.
Yep, they were pretty excited about it. The step niece and nephew were getting a kick out of it too.
