Hung a Hummingbird Feeder Today

I hung one this past Saturday but haven't seen a hummingbird yet. I have seen an online map that shows a sighting of a ruby-throat in SE OK about a week ago and that was why I decided to get the feeder hung on the back porch.

Saw one at my grandma's this afternoon. Hope it doesn't get too hot this summer.

we have had one out for years. only get a couple of mating pairs a year. the males usually come through and voice their opinion as to when we need to put it out. well, i got cussed out today by a ruby throat male. the feeder is now hung.

I saw a hummingbird yesterday sitting on the feeder that hung dry all winter. I took it down and cleaned it got to get some sugar to fill it. I just love sitting in my chair here at the computer desk and watching them little buggers.

Good, that means I should be seeing one in the morning.

I put red bull in my feeder. Then listen for the sonic booms.

Use to love putting feeders out for the little buggers, until I got tired of them crapping all over everything.
