The peroxide does work really good for removing blood stains from the carpet. When my ND happened with my hand, I got the peroxide and one of those rug doctors from the grocery store. I soaked the carpet with the peroxide and let it sit for about 20 minutes and then ran the rug doctor over it. it took all the blood out of the carpet
