CRKT
In my 71+ years I've carried just about every pocket knife brand and size known to man......used to favor carrying the older USA made bone scaled Queen and Case stockman's but I've retired them.
Around ten or twelve years ago I came across a Buck # 302 Solitaire sitting on the table at a gun show and fell in love.....single blade, slim, sturdy, positive snap, 3 7/8" OAL with a 2 7/8" blade.
They've been discontinued for a few years but can probably still be found......heck, I might even know a fella that neckbearded one or two. ]
@Cowbaby when I saw the shield on the scales of those two bottom knives it rang a bell and knowing good and well that I had one to send to you to add to your collection (free of charge) I got up and dug through my knives but come to find out the one I have with a shield is a older Eye Brand not Western......I believe the only Western knives I have are two really nice older W-49 Bowie knives with the original drop sheaths..
An old German Eye brand is not exactly something I would cry about when looking through a collection and finding one. I used to have and Eye trapper.
Those giant bowies from Western are iconic.
