Well I just traded my 44 thirty mins later the police were at my door and got the firearm I traded for and kept my 44 said it was reported stolen out of St. Louis in 1995


Is there anyone on here that can verify this to make sure there wasn't a type o

Well wishful thinking I guess, hopefully.
I called St.Louis pd and they said they couldn't run the serial and tell me anything

This has never happend to me so just want to verify it was reported and cover my backside

I traded the 44 to a guy then thirty mins later the guy and the local pd came to my door to retrieve the firearm I traded the 44 for. I gave back the firearm I traded the 44 for, that guy left. Local officer got my contact info and said detectives would be in touch. Local officer has possession of my 44 that supposedly was stolen in 95 out of St. Louis

hmm let me guess... You traded to someone who doesnt understand OKs gun laws and went to his favorite gun dealer/pawn shop to "have it put in his name" and the SN was flagged.
