This guy came up from the creek and was hanging around my shop. Looks like he’s been on the loose for a while. He’s dirty, his ears are filthy, probably needs shots. Definitely needs to put a couple pounds on. I called animal control but everything is shut down due to the canine flu. They said they check for chips but if they don’t have a chip, they just release them. This old guy would just get hit by a car so I did the right thing and kept him in my shop. I have a girl that will take him as a last resort but I’d rather him go to someone as a companion.
I opened my shop door and he just laid down all afternoon. He’d raise his head and greet anyone that came in but wasn’t to enthusiastic about getting up. He’s super laid back and I keep him if I could.
I’m not sure how old he is but I’m guessing he’s 10+. Getting gray around the muzzle and a little around the eyes.
I’m sure he’d lay at your feet while you sat in your porch chair.
