Absolutely, but not just “blacks”. All of those activists out there should be clamping down on the violent elements. Many of the troublemakers in OKC this weekend were white. (If they’re actually interesting in changing people’s minds)

Indeed, any race should be punished for criminal activity. But an easy 90% (or more?) of those I've seen doing damage and looting are black. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have multiple friends who are cops at multiple agencies, at multiple levels, (municipal, state, and fed), at multiple points in their respective careers, and to a person have stated these officers screwed the pooch on multiple levels. I’m pretty sure they are speaking up. But it seems nobody wants to listen, so whats to do?

Drive? Nah. Express the fear they have because they're looked at waaaay differently by urban or suburban police forces than Pot County Sheriff look some white boy in Shawnee? That's probably more accurate.

I think some people are just appalled at the thought that someone may have actually be born with a tougher break than them. All "make better choices" rhetoric doesn't mean shiiiiit when things happen like what happened to Philando Castile. Which was also in the Twin Cities for anyone keeping track.

It's a fact some people are born with a tougher break than others, just because of where they are or who they are or who their parents are. And a whoooole bunch of people are OUTRAGED that someone may have a tougher life than them. No one has to apologize for anything. Their whiteness, their wealth, their part of town they live in. But by God at least have the self awareness enough to recognize it. That's the crux of the issue here.

If you can find any source (facebook, youtube, whatever) where the majority of looters and arsonists in these "protests" are white, asian, or hispanic, I'll gladly apologize.

Well, I imagine that image was taken from a cell phone video. The way I've seen some handle their cell phones during these riots, I am not surprised that it is a grainy photo.

There have been reports today of police officers being out there as a part of the protests. I'm thinking that one of those was the chief of police somewhere in South Carolina. Obviously, they are not being a part of a riot, but are dealing with the peaceful protesters.

You just can't sit around waiting to be fed information. Reddit is where I've seen it. There are some pretty diverse crowds out there. I would argue, but I typically try not to form opinions from short clips of narrative.

One link that supports that viewpoint would help.

I'm on dialup, and what you can find in a minute or two could take me hours to download and view (assuming I even knew what to search for).

Not looking for sympathy, it just is what it is.

I've noticed quite a few white folks in looting vids. One liquor store looting showed a lot of white guys carrying out cases of hooch. Also saw several white guys carrying surfboards out of some store in CA.
And I'm guessing a lot of the hard core antifa are white.
I have no hard facts about stats, but this is just my perception, not saying there aren't just as many black looters.

Hopefully something positive will come from all this.
