Not really, and it’s looking like a worse idea all the time.

Those in government either can't or won't follow the Constitution as it stands right now. Don't expect them to follow any changes made in the future, either.

When or if we lose our comfort and become hungry, things "MAY" change. But given what technology has done to the population I won't dare speculate who wins. History in the making.

I think the reason the Dems want to lower the penalties for drive by shootings is because too many people are obeying the law.

That said, it could also be racist. Not enough blacks are killing other blacks in the current number of drive-by shootings to satisfy those racialist Democrats in power.

Only problem with a convention of the states is that it could potentially go the other way for us drastically. I don't have that kind of faith in the officials.
