Going on 1 hour without power. This is actually a good opportunity to do a security audit.

About 3 hrs. 6-9 pm n.w. of s.w. 29th and meridian. We also lost most of a tree. About 20 footer, soapberry, I think.

Interesting... if it's a rolling blackout, then why are they doing it that late at night? I would think that at night they wouldn't be hitting peak usage? Doesn't make sense to me.

It was not a rolling blackpout, OGE has never had to institute a rolling black out in the years I have worked for them. Sub station locked out due to losing a transmission line.

It was on the news this morning that OGE was saying the peak power is very close to being reached and in the days ahead, if folks don't cut back on usage, they will have to use some area blackouts.
