Congrats with a word of caution. I was also sick and tired of upper management and the way the company was going so I retired when I became eligible. I rode a motorcycle around the country for a couple of years and had a great time. I volunteered for the Red Cross for a while until I realized how dysfunctional they were. I play a lot of golf, shoot some, and stay involved in grandkids activities now. Days can get really long if you are used to working since you were 15 like I was too. Hope you enjoy retirement, just be sure you’re ready.

exactly my dads story almost. Worked 35 and retired about 30 now and his health just shut him down the last 2.I just hope when i retire in a few years i can last aslong as my dad has he spent 30 years with the company and has been retired for 35 this year. And he has stayed busy the whole time up til this year and his health has started to go down hill so he cant get out and do what he wants to do.
