Oh, and for Christ's sake...stay AWAY from Edward Jones. If you need a financial advisor, get one that is a flat fee ONLY.
We have had EXTREMELY good luck with Edward Jones!

Hell yes, I'll be rich and too old to spend it otherwise LOLYou buying???
I dont buy into this math sir. Nope, i see way to many flaws in it.The number has been updated to closer to 4-4.5% after some good back testing. I would also recommend that folks take a look at the FIRE calculator. It's very through and does a good job of helping you assess where you stand. https://www.firecalc.com/
Well I'll disagree. Being ill sucks but ill and broke n hungry i think would trump that suck factorIf you don’t have your health and take care of yourself, it won’t matter how much money you have at retirement.
i was forced to retire last year, was finalized in aug of last year. its an adjustment. if you can keep busy you will have a head start, its taken me close to a year to find my compass and a direction. congrats and enjoy it.
Lmao!If I retired today I would be able to live the life I'm accustomed to until Thursday.
