I know that from Reagan on all of them were bought.
Everybody running is a multimillionaire. No common folk that I know of, Cruz is worth millions, has he divested himself from all of his business interests? Does this apply to Trump only?
AFAIK, after a candidate is elected, not before, they distance themselves from their own money.
Bernie Sanders is not a millionaire...far from it. He is the only "common folk" candidate we've had in some time.

Yes, they're all bought. In some form. That's my point. Trump is not different just because he's wealthy....thanks for helping arguing against your previous post lol.

Bernie isn't wealthy but he's being a politician is the only steady job he's ever had so he's far from the common folk.

His parents were working class people, and not well off by any measure. After college, he worked a variety of odd jobs for over 15 years before he was elected to any office (at age 40). Given this, and his political platform, he's as close to "common folk" as we're going to get.

The trouble with that theory is what the "common folk" want. The "common folk" want to be part of the Free Stuff Army. The "common folk" want fries with that, if prompted.

I am not interested in socialists.

Cruz and every single one of them are being bought as we speak, Trump is using his own money.
I cannot guarantee anything but, at this point he is the only one that is not owned by the special interests.
I was not looking for perfection, if I was I might be looking for a very long time.
Here and now, he has not been bought, the others have.
YMMV

Gun rights are secured by the 2nd amendment. It in no way should be a political issue.

I agree about it should not be political but if you look at Heller and Mcdonald I beleivre both were 5-4 so they are political. I don't see them just gutting the second amendment overnight, but a liberal court could say a ridiculous tax on ammo is ok or something like that to make bearing arms to hard. Obviously this would be against the constitution but it would not be the first time it were not followed

Jeb had a valid question the other night. Can someone explain to me how this little-dicked, draft-dodging, orange Manhattanite gets away with making fun of a Republican POW and still leads polls?

I thought the right was big on respecting the troops?

I really don't get it. Like I said, I usually overlook political differences on a personal level, but I don't think I can respect a Trump supporter. It's just unreal.

Great question, but there are xyz things about Obama that we should be asking how did he not only get elected, but elected twice and is practically made of Teflon. I nevrer thought there would be the day a president could chose the interest of illegal immigrants over americans or say he does not wear a flag pin because he "does not want to take sides"

All the "free stuff" jokes are fun and all, but they don't address Bernie's plans or implications (good and bad) for our country. Which specific plan do you have an issue with?
https://berniesanders.com/issues/how-bernie-pays-for-his-proposals/

That's easy. He wants to raise taxes on everyone to give free sh$t to more people. He colors it up with propositions that tax the wealthy, but when you look closer it's not just the rich, it's everyone who pays taxes.

That's enough for me.

Which specific plan do you have an issue with? Which plan will have the net effect of costing you money?
