For what it is worth, I really like my Begg that I bought a couple of weeks ago. I have used it quite a bit since then and continues to stay sharp. I don't know much about knives but it seems to get the work done for me. This is the one I have:

Yes, these Civivi's are outstanding knives. There's 3 Civivi knives in there, same handle on all of them.

I had an Elementum once upon a time. I loved the action of it, but it was a little small for my mitts. I need to check out the Conspirator. It looks like a goodun.

Ya'll need to stop, I have had one of those floating in around in my amazon cart for months now, keep telling myself I don't need it.

I heard someone on here say that the steel is from US, its made with a US only legitimate process. So US materials, Chinese assembled. Probably better than what most "American" knives can claim about their knives, with chinese steel.
