got a ticket last month while on the way back from a funeral in Kansas. Nothing wild, was tired from travel and a not-sleeping toddler and let my speed drift and got caught. 10 over. Anyway, i've never had one before and i know i can show up or pay it (online or by mail). It's not really easy for me to show up and do anything and i don't know if it's worth getting an attorney or such. Im fine paying the fine and am not real excited about what will happen to my insurance but i'll deal with that when the time comes. Haven't had a drivers course since i was 16 so i'm hoping i can use it to lower my rate when needed. My question is i can plead guilty or no contest on the ticket, but i didn't know which i should do. Mostly just don't want to do something wrong with the plea. Didn't know if anyone had any experience or advice before i make my contribution to the Kansas revenue fund.
