Starting a shooting range

80 acres is usually 1/2 mile by 1/4 mile. If you have 70 acres with almost a mile frontage on Hwy 9, it can't be much over 200 yds deep, meaning you would have to shoot parallel to Hwy 9 to shoot any long distances.
Back stops would be important and that would involve a lot of dirt moving.
It may be more expensive than you think.
