The things you will do for family!

I just recently put my artistic skills to use for my mother for her birthday next month. She is always trying to get me to draw or paint something for her or someone in the family. Reluctantly I agreed, I have always enjoyed doing art work and I feel I'm pretty good at it. But I don't paint very often especially on a large scale because it takes soooooooo long to complete. Mainly because I am a perfectionist (as are most painters and artists). Anyways she convinced me to paint her a "Family Tree" to hang her family pictures on. She thought a tree on her wall would be cool with family pictures hanging from it. I had my doubts, but it's my mom, and it's her birthday. So long story short after 35 hours of work and touch ups, here is the tree I completed recently.

I thought it turned out so well, I decided to do the tree on my wall with my family. Mine is not as wide, but is taller. Since we had two different walls.

Thanks man, I really thought it sounded kinda lame when she first explained it to me. But after everything I am glad she came up with the idea. It is a really cool conversation piece and and a unique way to spruce up boring family photos in a display.

It's O.K. Patty, we would just take GC and the dogs and cats out and it will leave more room for us to just look at you hot mamma! LOL...
