This time next Friday I will be sitting down to a Lobster Dinner in Portland, Maine. Then I will drive to Rockland the next morning, about an hour and a half up the coast and eat more lobsters on Saturday. Sunday, I board the Stephen Taber and we sail away. The Taber was built in 18971 and she is registered as a National Historic Landmark. 68 feet length on deck, a beam of 23 feet, 20 passengers max, crew of 4. Totally powered by the wind, she has no engine. The last day of our cruise is The Great Schooner Race. I am pumped. I fly home on the 21st.
