Tumbling 150 5.56 pieces at a time.. got another brand new Frankford Arsenal vibratory tumbler traded for from a buddy and should get it in a week or two.

How many pieces of .223/5.56 do y’all comfortably tumble in yours at a time? I know I can do 300 in a wet FART tumbler but I feel like I can only comfortably do 150 pieces in a vibratory tumbler.

100 pieces of ADG .300 PRC brass arrived today and getting it ready to load.

Ran all over my L.E. Wilson Mandel
Chamfering necks now
Will prime afterwards

All of this new brass (same lot # as before) was just as consistent all around. I'm kinda falling in love with this stuff!

Pretty jealous of all that good brass you've scored lately 😁.

I've done (122) .308 and (246) 6.8 SPC in my FART at once, but like you that number drops in half if I use my Hornady vibratory tumbler.

Project 1: Loaded 25 rounds of 6.5 Grendel with the 108gr Scenar. The bullet OAL is the same as the 123gr Scenar and 123 SMK...so I used 123gr load data for IMR-8208 XBR. COAL is a nominal 2.260 / 1.705 CBTO.

Project 2: I loaded 15 rounds of 6.5x47 with the 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tip. This is a rough seating depth test at .020 - .060 in .010 increments. I used the same 36.0gr charge that works well with the 120gr Scenar-L.

I was also going to start prepping some 9mm brass, but then I found 4,500 cases that were ready to load already 😐. I'm getting old, and forgetting what I put in my tubs is starting to become more frequent.
