I like millet scopes for the money, all of my rifles are wearing them and I've had zero problems.

I have a winchester .243 and love it for a deer rifle. As for scopes, I am biased and am a big fan of leupold if it doesnt bother you to drop the cash for one.

Thats purdy. I killed my first buck with a 30A it's a minty '78 Otasco diamond jubilee edition .I wonder if it will be worth something someday

Bought a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9-40 for 178 brand new. I think that will work. Thanks to everyone that contributed and gave me ideas.
