****in gross man. Tulsa already felt like a liberal cesspool. Also makes sense that they would leave for ID because CA transplants are ruining that place too.

That's really not what was happening when I lived there. But that's been 3 years ago.
Someone in Boise did a study of people moving to Idaho from out of state (specifically from CA) and found over 80% of new arrivals were registering to vote as republicans.
As late as Sep 2023 republicans outnumbered democrats by about 4 to 1. Unaffiliated voters outnumbered democrats by over 2 to 1, and the vast majority vote republican. Those are about the same ratios as when I lived there.
To be fair, there are plenty of liberals in Idaho. A lot of rich, liberal elites are buying property there. That's why it's gotten so expensive to live in northern Idaho and why I didn't retire there. It's a very red state overall.
Tulsa has a program called “Tulsa Remote” where they are offering folks $10,000 or something like that to move here and have remote jobs in other parts of the country…but you can’t live in Tulsa first.
