Feb 21 update, doing good ,walking ok , just cant stand or walk or sit f more than 2 hours, i can work in back yard an sort out the storage shed though..Thanks to all who donated i got all my bills paid up this month,and will start on March next week , i do have 2 bills due first of Mar,right after next tuesday when i go see the doc, he said 3 months a go they will Force my leg back since it wont go all the way back, so it looks like i'll be setback for another month..I need GUTTERS,,the city code enforcers are on my case, saying i dont have enough drainage and gutters, so if anyone knows where i can get some used GUTTERS,, PM asap. i still need donations, for the first of March, after that we'll see, Thanks. louis.
Mar 10 update,doing same ,walking around a little , i dont need gutters ,code enforcer checked off the wrong box ,i talked to her, i need SIDING, oh and a new ROOF, oh is that all !!!!!!!!!! last day of feb went back and saw the doc,he said i had good ROM(range of motion)so they wouldnt be Forcing my leg back,, it seems that is a minor surgery in the OR and with no insurance they dont want to do it..so i am doing all my PT at home..asked him why my knee is still swollen after 6 months?? he said because of the damage to it !!! what damage is said?? no one ever told me about this, all i ever though was i broke both bones going from knee to ankle..i should be walking normal and able to work,no he says,,i am doing good considering all things..may take another 6 months or so for the knee ..till then i am stuck, cant work..i can do odd jobs just this time of the year not much too do.if you hear of any cleanup, junk hauling, yard work , scrap metal, or other odd job i can do PM me.. since i cant work a regular job ,i was thinking of filing for state temp disability anyone ever do that ??? PM if u have ..right now i have bills due so if anyone can donate that would be great,,post 12 for my e-mail via pay pal..Thanks louis.
I don't know squat beyond what my job provides, but you SHOULD be a prime example of why we have Social Security and such. Instead of the deadbeat asshat I used to be stationed with that is siphoning off .gov funds for his made up mental disorder for rolling a deuce and a half at his own doing. Don't feel bad about checking into it. I'm sure you've paid taxes.
March 17 update,,i have been up and around messing around the house and backyard,i do have some siding to put up, may need some help taking old down and putting up the good,,anyone a siding expert??? i am at the RK Gun show this weekend with one table,white tablecloths,,trying to sell some stuff, and 3 guns, a taurus 9mm millinum pro,ss ,slide lock, 3 mags,a spanish 7mm mauser made in spain 1916,an my M1 GARAND ,h&r , post korea, lmr barrel.i will be wearing a blue t-shirt,Pontiac Service..donations needed, have a overdue gas bill,and will be done this month..
SOLD the m1,got a good price, having to save it up for property taxes,,can anyone help me with the siding??? it seems i will have to sign up for state welfare and food stamps for now,, since i cant work more than 2-3 hours,anyone have any advise on those 2 ??.. getting on Dissability will take a year or more,and after knee swelling goes down, who knows , maybe i will be able to work..till then i will have to make do ,, seeing how GFM donatons are almost nonexistent..will try to put up siding this week if weather permits,, any helpers ??? can i do that by my self?? or does it take 2 people??
