And if we are talking about shutting down free speech then can we please stop pretending it's a one way street. Yes, hollywood et al are great at it, but so is the right. Didn't the president of the USA suggest that those NFL players who refuse to stand for the anthem be fired, and more recently suggest that 'they shouldn't be in the country'?

Do they have a right to their speech on national TV? When they do that they have a venue that you and I don't have. How is that equal? Some rights are more equal than others?
How is it that Joy and Whoopie on The View get to apologize 4 times a week for their antics but Roseanne and her entire cast and crew get fired?
