Wife bought one of the Ninja air fryers a couple of days ago. So far, it's kind of interesting. No smoker or grill, but it does frozen fries pretty well. Did some Korean marinated chicken thighs tonight in some shake and bake stuff. Had to turn the heat way down to keep from burning the coating.
Try some real tater fries tomorrow. basically a mini convection oven.

Wife has one of those thingys too. Recipes don't always work and most are really bland like a Furrs Cafeteria.

Hmmm, hot...how did that rate on a sacle of 1-10?
You have me interested to do that. I also thought about sprinkling red pepper on a maple sausage with the syrup.
I’d say it’s a 8-9, the spicy with the sweet syrup is a good combo

Tried it out this morning......many thanks for the inspiration - tasty indeed.

Had 3/4 of Jimmy Dean mild in the fridge. Made a nice little roll out of it and dusted it with Oakridge sweet rib rub. Tossed it on the smoker at around 225F with a chunk each of pecan & apple wood. After an hour, drizzled with som Mrs. Buttersworth (all I had in the cabinet). After another 30 minutes, flipped it and drizzled syrup on it again. 30 minutes later I hit an internal temp of 167F and pulled it off.

Good stuff.
