I just read where the masks are ineffective to a great degree when the nose is exposed (nose commando). People breath through their nose smell, sniff, snort etc. I was thinking (excuse me) why aren't there nose filters? Someone could make a mint if they developed gimmick nose filters, they'd sell on a massive scale if they could market them. All they have to do is sell two to a few hundred thousand and ther bank account would increase dramatically-kind of like My Pillow.

It’s such a insignificant effort. I just wear the damn thing.

One positive of wearing one. It makes it hard for people to recognize me. Which means I don’t have to stop and talk.

And they can't see the faces I make at them for their stupidity in the grocery store . . . .

Plus, if you happen to have a really bad case of buffalo breath, the mask helps out with that too.

she was simply defending herself against someone's spital, its pretty simple.

This is the truth. Your mask not only shows blind obedience to a ridiculous mandate, but also protects YOU from someone's spittle. So please wear your mask and feel safe, and leave me the hell alone when I choose not to wear mine.

I use the mask fiasco as a conversation starter. At the Sprouts I visit I comment on the lovely lipstick the cashier is wearing.

Quite a few times the people I talk to have lowered their mask to talk to me because I cannot hear them clearly and tell them I do not understand because I don't speak "mask".

I am having a hard time trying to figure out which group lost it first: The "wear your mask Karens" or the "It's a damn conspiracy".

There hasn't been this much debate since we wanted to know who shot JR.

Much ado about nothing...

I went into Popeyes the other day and the place was plastered with mask signs. Guess who was the only person wearing a mask properly?...…….……….Me

People get it in their minds that since they haven't had it, they won't get it. It's not usually until a person has been affected by something before they start telling others to learn from their mistakes. It's real common in human behavior. Could be taking a risky click and ordering from somewhere that people bash, but thinking theirs will be smooth. Hitting an eatery with poor reviews and being shocked how bad it was on the other side. See it a lot in Taurus shooters. They'll defend that brand up until the moment they buy a real gun, then they'll give them the bashing their reputation has earned.
