I guess you and I are different. I'd much rather hear the other person's voice than read a text from them.
Besides, auto-correct on the phone drives me nuts.
While I do find some of the things listed in this thread mildly annoying (along with using "disrespect" as a verb)...

We are different. I know how to turn auto-correct OFF.
I think it's human nature when someone gives good advice and the patient comes back later still complaining if the same thing and didn't apply the advise. Example: Doctor tells patient to exercise because they're overweight LDH is high and patient didn't follow through and has no legitimate reason as to why they didn't exercise. I'd tell them I couldn't see them again if they weren't going to follow my instructions, it's a waste of time for us both.
